Cricket
Cricket, from the nets to the inter-house final
Cricket is one of the four sports a student can choose. The nets on campus are where the work happens — batting, bowling and fielding — and the inter-house tournament is where it gets tested.
Batting
Practice in the nets with throwdowns and a bowling machine, working on stance, footwork and timing rather than just hitting balls.
Bowling
Line, length and variation, with a coach watching every over and adjusting before a fault becomes a habit.
Fielding
Catching, ground fielding and throwing accuracy, drilled rather than assumed — the part of the game that wins matches quietly.
Fitness
Running, agility work and stretching. A match is as often lost in the last five overs as the first.
Match simulation
Scenario practice — a target to chase, an over to defend — so that the first real match is not the first time a player has faced one.

Cricket is one of four sports offered — the others are badminton, fencing and taekwondo. Practice runs on working days and parents are welcome to watch a session.
