About Us

Where Confidence and Character Grow

R.K. Senior Secondary School has been a trusted name in Lucknow — a place where children grow into confident, responsible young adults. Established in 1991 and affiliated to CBSE New Delhi, we guide students across the Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams, blending strong academics with the values and character-shaping experiences that prepare them for life beyond school.

Our Mission

Give every child who walks through our gates a solid education, and the confidence to use it. That has meant the same three things since 1991 — classes taught properly, gaps caught early rather than at the end of the year, and teachers who know each student well enough to notice when something has changed.

Our Vision

We envision a school where every child finds what they are good at and the confidence to pursue it. Building on our legacy since 1991, we aim to nurture thoughtful young people who think for themselves, care for others, and carry the values of integrity and service into whatever path they choose — in Lucknow and far beyond.

Campus Life

School at RKSSS is more than lessons and timetables. Mornings begin with assembly and curiosity; afternoons fill with sport, music, art, and the small rituals that turn classmates into friends. Whether a child's interest lies on the stage, the field, or the laboratory bench, there is room here to explore it.

What Parents Say

Families who have been with us for years on what the school is like, day to day.

Read all testimonials
Three years in, the difference shows in small things. My daughter reads the newspaper before school now, and she talks about her teachers the way she talks about family.
Anita SharmaParent, Class VI
The Class XII teachers held extra sessions on Sundays before the boards. Nobody asked them to. That is the kind of school this is.
Rajeev VermaParent, Class XII
We moved to Lucknow mid-session and the school took my son in without fuss, pairing him with a buddy for a fortnight. He settled within weeks.
Farah KhanParent, Class II
The reports are specific. Not “needs improvement”, but “struggles with word problems, should practise ten a day”. You know exactly what to do at home.
Suresh TripathiParent, Class IX
I still keep the library habit I picked up here. Eleven years, one campus, and teachers who remembered my name long after I left.
Meera NairAlumna, Batch 2019
Sport is not a side activity here. My son trains at the badminton academy and his marks went up, not down. That balance is why we stay.
